Toronto Markets and Events for Spring and Early Summer!

Looking for something to do in Toronto this spring? Well look no further, we are diving in to list some of the major markets and events happening in the city soon! 

April: 

Montgomery’s Inn Farmers Market: 

Shop local farm products and fresh food every Wednesday from 2 pm to 6 pm at Montgomery’s Inn (4709 Dundas St W). 

Trending Table Market:

The Trending Table Market is a market for the entrepreneurs and small businesses of Toronto to expand their businesses. So on April 22nd and 23rd from 12 pm to 6 pm, be sure to check out the vendors at the Stackt Market (28 Bathurst St) and support the local businesses of the city! 

Earth Day Eco-Market:

Looking for some Earth Day fun? Visit the Toronto Botanical Garden on April 22nd from 10 am to 4 pm for some nature themed and eco-friendly products!  

Toronto Spring Market Shop Ontario Showcase:

On April 23rd from 11 am to 6 pm, check out The Garrison (1197 Dundas St W) for some local artisans, food, and vendors! 

Clothing Swap: 

Looking to clean out clothing you don’t wear anymore and update your wardrobe? Look no further than the clothing swap on April 29th from 11 am to 2 pm. For a $5 entry fee, you can bring in however many items you want (preferably over ten) and swap them for an equal number. Be sure to wash and dry all of the clothing before visiting 1594 Queen St E for the swap! 

Flamingo Market:

The Flamingo Market Spring into Summer is a great way to support some LGBTQ2SIA+ artisans and small businesses in Toronto. Check them out on April 30th from 11 am to 7 pm at the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre (12 Alexander St). 

The Spring Market Toronto: 

Visit the Society Clubhouse (967 College St) on April 30th from 11 am to 4 pm for some vintage and handmade items and clothing! 

May: 

Maker Market: 

Want to support over 20 local artisans? Shop the Maker Market at Maker Bean Cafe (1052 Bloor St West - main floor and lower level) on May 6th from 9 am to 6 pm and May 7th from 10 am to 5 pm! 

Farmers Market at the Garden:

Shop for some fresh local produce and other food or artisanal items at the Toronto Botanical Garden (777 Lawrence Ave E) every Thursday from 3 pm to 7 pm starting on May 11th

Toronto Flower Market: 

Occurring monthly from May until October, the Toronto Flower Market is the perfect place to buy fresh blooms, plants, and other products to brighten up your home! Visit 1001 Queen St W from 10 am to 3 pm on May 13th, June 10th, July 15th, September 9th or October 7th

Toronto Artisan Market: 

Want to check out a market for some Mother’s Day shopping? Visit the Toronto Artisan Market on May 24th from 11 am to 5 pm at Trinity Bellwoods Park (790 Queen St W). There will be handmade jewelry, home products, and other unique finds. You can even bring your pets to this event! 

Made for Me Marketplace - Spring Market: 

Stop by the Society Clubhouse (967 College St) on May 20th and 21st from 12 pm to 6 pm for some vintage items and other goodies! 

Gluten Free Garage:

Looking for an event that serves yummy gluten-free food? On May 28th, from 10 am to 5 pm at the Artscape Wychwood barns (601 Christie St), spend the day trying and buying gluten free food from vetted vendors, courtesy of the Gluten Free Garage! Tickets are $12 in advance, or $15 at the door.

June: 

Her Market: 

Put on by the same people who run the Trending Table Market, Her Market gathers all-female vendors to sell their handmade and other goods on June 3rd and 4th from 1 pm to 7 pm at 1153 Queen St W. 

Toronto Artisan Market: 

If you couldn’t make it to the Artisan Market on Mothers Day, visit Christie Pits Park (750 Bloor St W) on June 4th from 11 am to 5 pm for some more vendors! 

Liberty Village Art Crawl: 

Over 120 artists will be setting up stands to display their work and unique crafts in the Bentway  (250 Fort York Boulevard) on June 10th from 11 am to 6 pm. Featuring food vendors and a DJ, plan a fun summer day out and visit this Art Crawl! 

Flamingo Market Pride: 

Celebrating Pride Toronto, the Flamingo Market is setting up another event with LGBTQ2SIA+ vendors and artists at the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre (12 Alexander St) on June 10th and 11th from 11 am to 7pm. 

Kreative Craft Market and Pop Up Shop:

Join the Kreative House and shop at an indoor market pop up at 1233 Rear Queen St W on June 17th from 12:30 to 6:30 pm. There are even some giveaways and raffles occurring during the time of the market! The first 20 people get treated to a free swag bag and at 1:30, the first 50 people get a free ice cream!
